From the Vancouver YVR Airport or Tsawwassen Ferry take Highway 99 south to Exit 3 and 8th Ave. West. Proceed west on 8th Ave (which becomes Marine Drive) to Magdalen Crescent. Turn right and right again onto Sunset Drive at the end of the yellow barriers. We are a short distance on the right with "Ocean Rose" on our garage. From the U.S. border take Exit 2, 8th Ave. and proceed through the White Rock beach area to Magdalen Crescent. We are approximately 10 minutes from the border. |

THE SEASIDE CITY OF WHITE ROCK is located 1.5 miles north of the Douglas Border Crossing and the city of Blaine, Washington. White Rock enjoys more sunshine and less rain than neighbouring areas. Its sandy beach attracts many visitors. A red brick promenade lines 3 miles of waterfront where you can view many of the city's landmarks. These include the 400 ton white rock from which the city is named, the 1559 ft. pier built in 1915, the old train station housing the city's museum and archives and the new commemorative totem poles. Marine Drive offers a multitude of eateries from fish & chips to gourmet dining, in addition to a variety of interesting shops. White Rock is a walker's delight with a variety of options nearby.
